Meet Paddy, a wondeful Irish Setter who comes everyday to get the inyection against Leishmania.
And this is Ruby, a beautiful puppy who come for her last inmunization vaccine.
This 6 months old female kitten, comes to us with a very inflammed mamary glands. At first sight, they look like tumors, as the swelling is bigger than the actual mamary glands. After a complete check up we confirm that it’s a hormonal imbalance.
This is really painful and uncomfortable for the kitten. Besides, due to the size of the swelling, the kitten’s life is in danger. An anti-hormonal treatment will take a month to have an effect, but the inflammation is getting bigger and bigger every day so we can’t afford that solution alone.
Solution: to start the treatment and neuter from the flank, so we don’t get into the mamary glands way. After the castration we can observe that the inflammation diminish progresively every day until the total healing.
